You Can Help!

Service dogs are painstakingly and specifically trained to help people with disabilities, including, but not limited to, visual impairment, hearing loss, mental illness (including post-traumatic stress disorder), seizure issues, immobility and diabetes

Since 1999, we have been training dogs that perform lifesaving services for their human partners. These dogs help people walk with stability. They open doors for people using wheelchairs. They warn those with hearing problems that fire alarms are wailing. There is simply no way to describe the sense of wellbeing that an alerting dog can provide to a person with epilepsy, or a mobility support dog can provide to someone who has trouble walking.

These dogs bring a sense of independence and security to people’s lives in a way that nothing else can.

What do we do with the money?

We use your donations to provide the puppies with food, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, grooming, veterinary care, toys to stimulate their minds, transportation, leashes, harnesses, collars, housing and training. Additionally, there are salaries to be paid to employees, marketing costs, and general office expenses. These costs add up quickly and are continuously increasing.

For a relatively small amount of money, you can help a human in need find a lifechanging companion. You will help someone achieve independence and security. The dignity this brings to someone cannot be measured in dollars and cents. This holiday season consider making a small contribution that will go a long way.
